Fremont’s Committee on Advocacy, Equity, and Justice would like all Fremonters to be aware of the following opportunities to engage in legislative considerations at both the Federal and Sate levels. Affordable Housing has been the lead issues for the Interfaith Alliance on Poverty since its inception and many of the other topics being reviewed in the state legislative forum are important factors in the rapidly growing gap between “the haves” and “the have nots” in our city, state and country–a gap that is inconsistent, the committee believes, with our values as Christians. Fremont will be present at both forums, but we are eager for as many to participate as possible.
