Pray-ground
Sunday morning kids of all ages join us in the sanctuary. They are invited to come to the Pray-ground at the front of the sanctuary.
Conversation Time
Pastor Erin takes time during the service to have a conversation with kids. She personalizes the message of the sermon to their lives. Then the kids are invited to stay with their adults in the sanctuary, or go downstairs to the Sunday School / Nursery room.
Sunday School
The Sunday School curriculum includes elements of scripture, engaging activity, creativity, a snack, and fun!
Nursery & Preschool Care
Each Sunday we have a staff person who is here to be with babies and preschoolers who aren’t ready to participate in the curriculum. They have a space in the main room so that all kids are together.
Safe Sanctuary Policy
Fremont UMC adheres to the United Methodist Church, Safe Sanctuary Policy. The policy seeks to protect all vulnerable children, youth and adults as well as staff and volunteers. All of our building renters, partners and users must also agree to adhere to this policy.
- Children, youth and vulnerable adults shall be supervised at all times by 2 unrelated adults. No adult shall be alone with children, youth or vulnerable adults out of sight of other adults and must remain in a space with windows or be open to supervision.
- All staff and volunteers must pass a background check and take part in an annual training.
- Diaper changes are the responsibility of the adult in charge of the child.
